Kelly Araujo, commonly known as Kelly Moon, is a self taught Boston-based artist whose creations span the realms of jewelry, resin sculptures, acrylic paintings, and mixed media art. Kelly attempts to create art based on her experiences and interactions with the world around her. Her art is an intersection of vivid color palettes, abstract and precious gemstones. 

Drawing inspiration from her eternal bond with her daughter, hardships, vibrant culture, astronomy,and the urban landscape of Boston. She aims to capture the dynamic energy of life itself and the divine makings of black women.

In her jewelry pieces are a harmonious blend of metals,glass, and gemstones, each one expressing individuality and sentimental meaning. Kelly Is drawn to different minerals that are conceived by mother nature and vintage pieces that invite her back in time. 

In her resin sculptures,molds or geode pieces, she allows herself the privilege to indulge in numerous unique materials involved in each creation. Kelly is able to release her paintbrush and explore a new wave of fluidity and creativity. 

In Kelly's acrylic paintings and mixed media creations, she strives to remain fearless and unapologetic where she has the freedom to curate her emotions, thoughts and creative fuel into a canvas identical to a diary in art form.
